LED light bar installation help
 

I am trying to add LED light bar in the trunk and need your help. I tried to tap directly into the trunk light wires using some taps, but the LED bar won't light up. My Camaro has a standard cigarette lighter male plug and LED light bar works fine when I plug it into the cigarette lighter, but it's not practical. Just wondering should I get enough power from the trunk light wires to power the LED bar?

Are you sure you got the polarity correct?

Did you fix this issue in the end as I have a similar problem?

Have you made sure the wire connection throughout is tip top? Sometimes a single charge throughout the car, most importantly the trunk light might be dubbed down to power other lights such as the dashboard, interior lamp and/or lights tucked inside the door panels.
